Mornington Peninsula

Famous for more than golf!

Offering 18 golf courses, 50 cellar doors, fine dining and a breathtaking coastline, the Mornington Peninsula will have you coming back again and again. There is so much to discover in this picturesque region – from magnificent gardens and local artists to every type of water sport imaginable, there is simply something for everyone.

Follow a path along dramatic cliff tops, visit a farmers’ market for fresh Peninsula produce, or hoist a sail on the Bay – there are antiques to collect, strawberries to pick and winding country lanes to meander. Then again, perhaps you just want to lie on the beach!

The nice part is that anything goes – stay in a quaint cottage or beachside luxury, self-cater or be thoroughly spoiled at a B&B. Go inland for a magnificent picnic amongst the vines or treat yourself to fish & chips at the seaside. Enjoy the famous Peninsula Hot Springs, or take a cool dip in the ocean. Whatever delights you – the only challenge is deciding.

If it’s all about golf for you, our neighbouring courses are, too, some of the most beautiful in the world – our region is a renowned golfers’ paradise, and together we welcome our guests and visitors with the warmth and hospitality that Mornington Peninsula is famous for. Take a look here at a March 2010 article in 'The Age' extolling the virtues of the great golf to be had at Eagle Ridge and neighbouring courses.

So come and see what all the fuss is about, and enjoy the ocean breeze, the sweeping views and all the wonderful buzz and colour that is the Mornington Peninsula. You’ll be back!
